Nattergal partners with Earthly to offer Voluntary Biodiversity Credits to individuals and organisations

Nattergal has partnered with Earthly to create third party verified Voluntary Biodiversity Credits – perfect for organisations and individuals who want to feel confident in the integrity of their Nature recovery investment.

Launching initially from our flagship Boothby Wildland and ready to scale across all our sites, this partnership enables individuals and organisations alike to make meaningful contributions to support Nature restoration, whether that's in line with their corporate commitments, sustainability goals, engagement strategies or personal passion.

We chose to partner with Earthly because, like us, they are Nature First and integrity driven – their focus is and always has been on enabling biodiversity and community‑focussed projects, whether funded through carbon or through biodiversity credits. Biodiversity and social benefits are critical. In fact, we are proud to say that Boothby Wildland delivers the highest community co‑benefits score of any biodiversity credit initiative on Earthly’s marketplace.

In Earthly’s industry-first holistic project assessment framework – Keystone 3.0 – Boothby has been rigorously analysed against 106 data points across three key sets of ecosystem benefits: carbon, biodiversity and people. The methodology includes AI pre-screening, satellite monitoring and a stronger focus on water, so all the work the Nattergal team have put into community engagement, biodiversity monitoring, carbon sequestration and hydrological recovery is independently audited, validating the integrity of the project. 92% of submitted projects fail Earthly’s screening process, leaving Boothby in the 8% of projects given high-integrity validation.

In a market high on claims and low on transparency, we believe third party validation is critical. Nattergal has always strived for transparency from our projects, but having external validation gives potential ecosystem service buyers additional assurance to make confident investments.

At Boothby Wildland, 617 hectares of ecologically degraded land is being transformed into a dynamic mosaic of wetlands, grasslands, scrub and woodland, driven by natural processes including our recently reintroduced beavers. These ecological improvements contribute to healthier soils, restored hydrology, richer biodiversity and benefits for the local community.

We look forward to working with Earthly to connect more people with meaningful, evidence-led Nature recovery.
